ground beef stir fry

Mommy's lunch:
quick and easy ground beef stir fry
gluten-free pretzels w/Laughing Cow cheese
and blueberries
packed in an EasyLunchBox


recipe:
quick and easy ground beef stir fry

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 bag frozen vegetables
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp oil 
1/2 small onion
2 Tbsp soy sauce
salt/pepper to taste

Saute garlic and onion in 1 tbsp of oil.
Add ground beef till cooked. (Drain if needed)
Add frozen veggetables and stir frequently until cooked
Add soy sauce and salt/pepper to taste.
(If preferred, serve with rice.)

  1. I have a question. I am wanting to start doing this for myself but I am wondering... once you are at work, don't you want to heat of the stir fry? How do you heat up just the stir fry and not the blueberries and pretzels?

  2. Hi, Rose! Great question. Usually I the fruit in silicone cups so I can easily take it out to reheat my lunch. After taking this picture, I noticed I didn't do put the blueberries and pretzels in silicone cups--which I did right after taking the picture, but just didn't retake it. :)

Talk Like a Pirate Day (and a huge giveaway!)

ARGGH!!!  AHOY THERE, MATEYS! Okay. And that's pretty much all the Pirate I know. In honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day, my bento friends and I put together a fun hop with an opportunity to find some booty--a giveaway! Halloween Lunch 2013

There's a creepy, crawly, scary blog hop going on! Halloween is around the corner, so my friends and I put together a Frightful Fall Blog Hop to inspire you to create fun or creepy lunches for the kids this month!  Miss C's lunch Full Moon + Cat Silhouette is made out of cheese and nori.  Waffle and turkey meatballs.
